THE PITBULLS ARE BACK!

There has been a lot of speculation this off-season on what decision will the Akron-Canton Pitbulls make for the 2023 season. There were rumblings of them joining an Indiana based league & then more rumblings of them joining a Michigan based league. The entire time the Players Football Association remained steadfast on their stance and their interest level in getting the Pitbulls to come back and defend their title in the PFA. As a first year league, the PFL admittedly had some growing pains and some mistakes that needed to be accounted for. With that being said, the league has and will continue to do right by our champion and provide them with all that was promised. After some conversation between PFA ownership and AKC ownership there was common ground found & the idea of a reuniting of the brands was a possibility again. 1 week later we are proud to announce that the Pitbulls have accepted their invite to return to the PFA and defend their title against what has now become the largest pool of talent in semi-professional / developmental football world. The Pitbulls are poised to return their entire roster and also bring in some fresh legs. The Akron Canton Pitbulls will be representing the PFA in the upcoming Sunshine Bowl National Championships.
